Synopsis :
Though there were a number of films on dacoits and 'thakurs' earlier, Sholay was a different genre in films altogether. Its unprecedented success broke all records and in some theaters, the film ran for as long as one whole year.l

Sholay was a multistarrer. Top stars like Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bhaduri dotted the film, but it was the new actor Amjad Khan who walked away with the honor of immortalizing 'Gabbar Singh' in our minds.

Sholay is the story of a cop who arrests a dreaded dacoit and puts him in jail. Furious and mad with revenge, the dacoit escapes from prison and wipes off 'thakur's entire family. The dacoit also chops off the hands of the 'thakur'. It is now the 'thakur's turn to avenge the murder of his family and he does it from outside police system.

The 'thakur' hires two notorious criminals and trains them to confront the dacoit. The rest of the film has camaraderie of the two criminals who are also bosom buddies, their romantic flings, the face-offs with the 'thakur' and finally the war against the dreaded dacoit 'Gabbar Singh'. In the violence of killing 'Gabbar Singh', one of the friends dies.

Sholay had a string of extremely fine performances by all the actors. It is very difficult to pinpoint on any one of them, saying he or she was the best. Whether it was Amitabh or Dharmendra, Hema or Jaya in her brilliantly essayed cameo, or the towering Sanjeev Kumar as the 'thakur'. They surpassed their own credentials.

SYNOPSIS:
Set in the beautiful sights of Scotland, Bally (Bally Sagoo) lives the life as the spoiled Grandson of Multi-millionaire Kartar Singh (Dalip Tahil). His aspirations are to conquer the world with his band Desi Fever and marrBally & Manpreety his long-term girl friend Charlene (Zoe Szypillo). His family however have a very different plan for him! His mother (Daljeet Kaur) wishes Bally to take control of the business that his father left behind and settle down with a nice Panjabi girl Manpreet (Preeti Jhangiani). Bally & ManpreetManpreet a well educated orphan girl who is raised by Fatima Begum in Pakistan spends her time as a devout sevadar at the local Gurudwara Nankana Sahib and is picked to deliver holy water from the first Guru's birthplace to Scotland. She travels to Scotland with Kartar Singh, where she falls in love with Bally who sees her as nothing but as a lowly servant. Grandad Despite her love for Bally she helps Charlene in becoming accepted within Bally's family by teaching her about Panjabi culture and making her a perfect "Gori Gori Kuri Panjaban". When Kartar Singh finds out about his sons' plans he is crushed and finds himself betrayed by the one person he gave everything to. Will Charlene be able to fit in as a daughter-in-law within a respected Panjabi family? What about Manpreet who sacrificed her own love so that Bally could have his way? Can the two different cultures meet eye to eye?

SYNOPSIS:

He has developed advanced powers over matter and animals, which he uses to his advance to free his nanny, Ameenabi (Aruna Irani) who is being held by Ranbir and his associates. Kohinoor must pass numerous tests, including being exploited by a television reporter, Shaili Mathur (Manisha Koirala), who claims that she loves him; and fight hungry, blinded, man-eating lions.

Synopsis :
'Daag - The Fire' is a story about a lawyer (Chandrachur Singh) who twists facts and rescues criminals from the clutches of the law by arguing in their favour. Under his instructions, his father-in-law, who is a builder, sets a mill on fire to make it available for a hotel project. The Municipal Commissioner, who puts up a stiff opposition, is arrested on a false charge of accepting bribes and later murdered in the cell. His son, a commando, seeks revenge and shots the lawyer and his wife. The lawyer, is however, saved but losses his memory. When he regains his memory later, he is transformed man and believes in upholding the truth. How he and the commando unite against the wrong people is the rest of the story.

Synopsis :
Pukar is the story of an army officer. Anil Kapoor is returning home to glory for his bravery in duty. Anil Kapoor unaware of Madhuri's feelings towards him, courts Namrata Shirodhkar.
