SYNOPSIS:_
A remake of the hugely successful Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, Billu (formerly "Billu Barber") is the story of a small town man, Billu (Irrfan Khan) who mentions to his family that he was once a friend of superstar; Sahir Khan (Shahrukh Khan). Sahir Khan happens to come to the village to shoot a film and Billu's children spread the rumor that their father is his childhood friend. The villagers, on hearing their Billu could be their ticket to meeting the star, shower him with gifts and promises on condition Billu make contact for them. Billu is embarrassed by his poverty and doesn't want to impose, but everyone works themselves up so he's forced to make several ill-fated attempts at contacting the star while he's shooting just outside the village. But it's the school principal who, after threatening to expel Billu's children for non-payment of fees, has a turnaround when she believes Billu is able to get the star to appear at a school function and speak to the children. She goes to Sahir herself and requests his presence at the function for the children. Were Billu and Sahir childhood friends? Will Sahir meet with the villagers?

Synopsis :
"Tahaan - A boy with a grenade" is a fable-like journey of the eponymous eight-year-old boy, whose life revolves around the pursuit to find real purpose in his little world. Tahaan (Purav Bhandare) lives with his grandfather (Victor Banerjee), his mother Haba (Sarika) and older sister Zoya (Sana Shaikh,) in the serene meadows of Kashmir. They all live in the hope that someday Tahaan's father, who's been missing for over three years, will return. The death of his grandfather leads the local moneylender Lalaji and his manager Kuka (Rahul Khanna) to take away the assets of the family, including their pet donkey Birbal, against repayment of a pending loan. Now, life for Tahaan, his mother and sister takes a turn towards rougher pastures. For Tahaan, bringing his favourite donkey Birbal back home becomes the sole purpose in life. After various efforts at money-making, Tahaan approaches Lalaji with the prospect of regaining his lost asset but is devastated to learn that an old man Subhan Darr (Anupam Kher) has bought Birbal and taken him across the mountains… the same mountains from where Tahaan's father never returned. But Tahaan sums up courage and chases after Subhan. The prophetic old man doesn't befriend Tahaan at first sight but slowly warms up to this energetic and determined soul whose love for Birbal is paramount. But at the end of the journey, Tahaan is further disheartened when Subhan gifts Birbal to his orphaned eight-year-old nephew, and even the long-time helper of Subhan called Zafar (Rahul Bose), cannot be of any assistance to poor Tahaan. On his way back home, Tahaan finally encounters a teenage lad Idrees, who convinces him that his efforts would never be sufficient to get Birbal back. Instead, he promises to get Birbal back for a favour. All Tahaan will have to do is carry a package across the mountains on his next journey. Seeing Tahaan's eagerness, Idrees hands him a grenade. He tells him that when the time is right he will be told what is to be done. Tahaan sets off on his second journey with Subhan and Zafar, the grenade and package tucked away under Birbal's saddle. What is the price that Tahaan will have to pay for Birbal? And how far will he go to save his only meaning in life? Tahaan is now at a crossroad where his ultimate decision would determine his fate… "Will he get Birbal back?"

SYNOPSIS:
Based on true incidents, a south Indian Hindu man falls in love with a Muslim woman--taboo in the small village from which they hail. They marry against family wishes and move to Mumbai, where he works as a reporter for a large daily newspaper. Eventually, the couple has twin boys. The rest of the film is set during the December 1992-January 1993 period when the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid controversy raised religious tension in Mumbai and other parts of India, which sparked rioting and violence. The couple is separated from their children, and the fathers of both parents are killed when their home is burned by rioters. A reporter is shown interviewing politicians from both factions as well as the police. An underlying moral of thinking of oneself as an Indian rather than a Hindu or a Muslim is prevalent throughout the latter part of the film. The family is finally reunited after much searching through hospitals, morgues, and shelters. But the violence has left indelible impressions in the minds of the children.

Synopsis :
Autistic Indraneel Thakur, who works for a living as a waiter in a Café in India, has a body of a grown man and mind of a seven year old. One day while closing the café, a young woman named Maya Trivedi, asks for his assistance as she has missed the last bus. Indraneel assists her, takes her home, finds out that she is pregnant, helps her give birth, agrees to take care of the child, Gungun, and thereafter Maya leaves, never to return. Years later, Gungun has grown up, attends school, and believes that Indraneel is her dad. Then their world is changed upside down when Maya's dad, Dayanath Trivedi, arrives from London, Britain, to take custody of his grandchild, if necessary through the courts. Indraneel refuses to part with Gungun, and as a result a case is filed in Court. The Judge initially hears this case, finds Indraneel incompetent to be a responsible father and tentatively puts Gungun in the Court's custody. Now a date is set when Indraneel must take up the gargantuan task of proving to a less than compassionate Court that he is capable of looking after Gungun, knowing fully well that he, himself, is unable to look after himself.

SYNOPSIS:
This is the story about the resilience shown by the Indians when they were under the British Rule. They are already taxed to the bone by the British and their cronies, but when Jack Russell announces that he will double the Lagaan (tax) from all villagers, they decide to oppose it. Leading the villagers is a handsome young man named Bhuvan, who challenges them to a game of cricket, a game that is to be played by veteran British cricket players, versus villagers, including Bhuvan himself, who have never played this game before, and do not even know a bat from a piece of wood. As the challenge is accepted, the interest grows and attracts Indians from all over the region, as well as the British from all over the country - as everyone gathers to see the 'fair play' that the British will display against their counter-parts, who are aided by none other than the sister, Elizabeth, of Captain Rusell.

SYNOPSIS:
Honeymoon Travels is an off-beat drama weaving together the stories of 6 couples on their honeymoons on the same tourist bus. There are old-timers Nahid & Oscar on their second marriages, reflective and forgiving of live. Then there's the Gujrati couple Hitesh and Shilpa who can't get anywhere near each other without scrabbling, the super-compatible Parsi couple Aspi and Zara, and the oddball NRI husband Bunty with his desi, fun-loving wife Madhu. An uptight and insecure Bengali man, Partho, is very much in love with his beautiful, free-spirited wife Milly. And rounding off the sextet are the Kapoors, the Punjabi couple comprising of talkative Pinky and contemplative Vicky. The film starts off with the start of the bus journey, and a couple of red herrings, like Shilpa crying her eyes out at going on the honeymoon. Then there's an opinionated bus driver, and a mysterious motor-bike rider following the bus. And while everything looks lovey-dovey in the beginning, with familiarity and time, problems crop up. How each couple deals with their own specific problems is the rest of the film.

Ranjit Rai (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and his close friend Harbanslal (Dalip Tahil), are two wealthy men who want their children, Ajay (Ajay Devgan) and Madhu (Juhi Chawla) to marry each other. Unfortunately for them they are in love with not as wealthy Kajal (played by Kajol) and Raja (Aamir Khan). Each parent deceivingly get their children to sign a marriage certificate which declares them married to each other. Both the lovers refuse to back down, and their parents try everything to separate them. They eventually accept their choices and they prepare for the engagement. Unfortunately at the party, pictures are shown of Raja and Kajal acting very intimate with each other. It turns out that the whole thing was an act set up by Ajay and Madhu's parents. Raja and Kajal are willing to prove their innocence but Ranjit Rai and Harbanslal are determined to keep them away.

Daya Shankar lived with his family in Kashmir, but then subsequently re-located to Bombay where he took to crime as a career. One day while on the run from the Police, he holes up in a small room with a young bar dancer, Simran. She shields him from the Police, and he falls in love. He finds out the bar she dances in and comes in silently to watch her perform. He had come to her rescue when she was being molested and thereafter asked her to move in with him, which she did. For sometime it was as though they seemed to be living in bliss, then all of a sudden, they were on the run again. Then Daya decided that it was time to settle down, and they adopted a young boy, Bittu, made different passports, and decided to re-locate to Dubai. That did not happen, instead Bittu gets killed, and a heart-broken Simran and Daya are forced to live apart, with Simran moving to Seoul, Korea. It is here that she meets with Akash and both fall in love, get intimate and Simran gets pregnant. Then Daya re-enters her life, disrupting it completely, beating Akash to a pulp. It is now that Simran has to decide whether to stay with Akash, get married, and have her baby, or continue to live a life on the run with Daya - who is not only on the run from the Police, but also from the underworld Don, Khan. What the three players do not known that two of them are going to be betrayed - a betrayal so shocking that none of them may be able to survive it.

SYNOPSIS:
Sarika and Karan are employed in a big city called Mumbai in India. They meet, have a date, and find that they are attracted to each other. They do not know nor care of each others' backgrounds, and get married. They start to live in a small apartment. One day Karan asks Sarika to deliver a parcel for him via an Indian airline, which she does. The authorities stop her, and a search reveals that she was carrying drugs in the parcel, and she is arrested. After her arrest, Karan visits her and assures that this is all a big misunderstanding, and she will be found not guilty and let out soon. This does not happen, Sarika is found guilty, is convicted and sentenced to a long jail term. While in prison, it slowly and painfully dawns on her that she has been used, and wants to avenge this. In order to get even with Karan, she must first of all either wait for the sentence to get over or be more daring and escape, take Karan by surprise and avenge her humiliation.

SYNOPSIS:
A burglar has carried out heists throughout the world - from Argentina to Japan - and is virtually unstoppable, as no policeman in any country knows when and where he is going to strike next, neither do they know what he actually looks like. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jai Dixit, is assigned this case along with fellow A.C.P. and former collegian, Sonali Bose. Jai comes to the conclusion that 'A' likes to strike on a date that totals 8, and also deduces that 'A' plans to mark the letter 'A' on Earth. The next possible heist is going to be Mumbai, India, and this is where the security forces are put on maximum alert. Assisting Jai and Sonali is former jailbird-turned-police-informer, Ali Akbar Fateh Khan. Despite of these precautions, 'A' manages to steal a priceless diamond and escapes. Now Jai decides to take the assistance of another burglar, a female by the name of Sunehri, who would like to mend her ways and do anything to stay out of prison. She is asked to burglarize a valuable on the same day and time as 'A', which she does, meets with 'A', and gets to know him. The scene then turns to Copacabana in Brazil, where all concerned parties re-locate to. This is where the final confrontation will take place between 'A' on one side and Jai, Sonali, & Ali on the other, and this is where Jai will find out that Sunehri cannot be trusted, as she may have fallen in love with the mysterious 'A', and instead of aiding the Police, may assist him in making his getaway

SYNOPSIS:
Bangkok based Ravi Rathore lives a wealthy lifestyle and runs a business which he took over when he married Nikasha. They now have a school-going daughter, Anamika, and a failing business. In order to make up for his business losses, Ravi hires some men to kidnap Anamika, hold her for ransom, demand two million American dollars, and then release her. Ravi hires an elderly, alcoholic bodyguard named Suryaveer Singh, who dislikes crowds and children. He does warm up to the bubbly Anamika and both share a bond - which is broken when Anamika is kidnapped from her piano school, Surya is severely wounded, but does manage to shoot three abductors. He recovers in hospital, and is quite upset that he has failed in his job. Meanwhile Ravi is quite relieved that the kidnapping has gone according to plan, he does notify the police, and they set up a trap to apprehend the kidnappers. But then something goes terribly wrong, the police end up shooting and killing the men, who in turn kill Anamika. Surya, who is on his way home to India, cancels his trip, returns and starts asking questions, not knowing that he is going to unearth a web of deceit, lies and deception, which may only end when he uncovers the entire truth or die's trying.

Bhagwan Shri Kishan had predicted that the Kalyug (Dark Age - where evil will triumph over good) will start after the battle of the Kurkshetra - the epic war between Kauravas and their cousins the Pandavas. Sage Vyas had verbally dictated the Bhagwad Geeta, while Bhagwan Shri Ganesh wrote it, which included a little-known chapter - about Surya Dev's son, Karan, who though sired by Pandavas mother, Kunti herself, had fought on the side of the Kauravas. He adorned a body armor that no arrow or spear could pierce rendering himself virtually immortal. This itself could have changed the course of history and resulted in the annihilation of the Pandavas - until Bhagwan Shri Indra himself intervened and got Karan to donate this armor, which was then safely buried in the Uttaranchal mountains in India. With the body armor out of the way, the Pandavas were able to slay Karan and defeat the Kaurava hordes. Years later, Kapil Malhotra came across a map to this armor, which he wanted to be kept secret, but Baali, his assistant, wanted it for himself, so that he could rule the world. Rather than surrender the map to Baali, Kapil kills himself by jumping off a cliff, leaving behind a divorced wife and son, Veer; and his present wife with a son named Vicky. 20 years later, Vicky, while he attempts to sell their ancestral property near Kishanganj, comes across a copy of the real map - leading to a chain of events that would re-unite the Malhotra brothers, with Baali eventually getting his hands on the much coveted armor - becoming the most powerful human on Earth, unstoppable - with no one capable of killing him.

Karan is a cartoonist and his cartoon characters "Hum" and "tum" are very popular. Hum Tum reflect Karan's Perspective on men and women and their strange relationship. Karan is the quintessential bad boy – he is a complete flirt, and is constantly changing girlfriends. Rhea is sensitive, well bred and with high ethical and moral standards. The two come from very different backgrounds, and have evolved into very different people.
